Due to ongoing controversies surrounding US military involvement in the Pacific War prior to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, it is difficult to find information about it in the US media. It is even harder to find references to it in state-mandated textbooks.
The fact remains that the US was actively involved in fighting the Japanese in Manchuria years before the attack that “began” US involvement in World War Two.
